During its August 11 meeting, the Wilmette Transportation Commission unanimously supported the Village’s approval of the Master Bike and Active Transportation Plan. The next stop for the Plan is the Municipal Services Committee of the Village Board. We have not yet been advised of a date; please check back for details.
We can’t emphasize enough how important it is that the Village Board hears from residents in support of the Plan, and beyond that, to keep up the pressure to implement the plan. Send a public comment to the Village in support of the Plan.
