This year, for the first time, Bike Walk Wilmette invited the two candidates for Village President and the five candidates for the Board of Trustees to meet with us and discuss their views and priorities regarding active transportation issues and implementation of the Wilmette Master Bike & Active Transportation Plan, which was recently approved by the Village Board.
We are pleased and grateful that all seven candidates accepted our invitations and engaged with us on these issues, which we believe are important to the quality of life in our Village.
