Thank you all for participating in Bike Walk Wilmette’s Annual Bike Donation in collaboration with Working Bikes. On Saturday, May 7th, 2022 between 9 and 11 AM residents brought 80 bicycles to our stand at the Gillson Beach Parking Lot. Some real beauties were donated, including two pristine Schwinns over 60 years old, a triathlon bike, some lovely cruisers, and a Trek tandem. Working Bikes was thrilled, and donors were glad that their bikes will go to good use in Chicago, Ghana, and El Salvador.
