Join Bike Walk Wilmette for its monthly casual community bike ride Thursday, August 25th, 2022. Meet in front of Village Hall at 5:45 p.m. and begin riding at 6 p.m. The ride will be leisurely and fun, not a race. We’ll be going west to the Rec Center and back through Kenilworth Gardens. Why not join us at the start or along the way? We’re hoping this will become a monthly tradition that everyone wants to join.
Approximate time: 40 minutes. All ages (kids, too), abilities, and bike-types welcome. The ride will be on the road; so it is appropriate for those comfortable riding in traffic and among other cyclists. Please make sure you are properly equipped with reflectors and/or lights. Helmets and rear view mirrors strongly encouraged. Feel free to stop into one of Wilmette’s finest restaurants or share a beer with us after the ride.
