Here’s Your Chance to Find Out More about Proposed Bike Improvements in Wilmette

The Village Welcomes Your Comments

During the next two weeks, the Village of Wilmette will hold Open Houses regarding bike improvements to: 1) Glenview Road, Wilmette Ave,, and Ridge Road, and 2) Green Bay Road. Please attend to learn more and add your comments. Public input is welcome and highly encouraged.

1) Monday, November 10, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Improvements to Glenview Road, Wilmette Ave. and Ridge Road
Centennial Tennis Center

These improvements include a combination of shared lanes and designated bike lanes. The Open House will include the opportunity to review exhibits, provide comments, and meet with the project team. Click Here for more information.

2) Tuesday, November 18, 5:00 – 6:45 p.m.
Improvements to Green Bay Road
Centennial Tennis Center

The Village’s project team will provide a study overview, share current conditions on Green Bay Road, review community input, and share the Proposed Improvement Plan, including potential streetscape design elements that enhance the experience for bikers and walkers.
