“Safety stop” legislation is up for consideration in Illinois. It has already passed in the state Senate. Bike organizations and advocates are working to get it passed in the state House. Our legislators need to hear from us immediately!
The legislation HB4660 would legalize the safety stop, allowing people biking to treat stop signs as yield signs.
