The League of American Bicyclists, a prestigious national organization dedicated to promoting cycling and bike-friendly environments, has re-awarded Wilmette the coveted Bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) status. This distinction places Wilmette among the highest-ranked communities in Illinois, sharing the honor with Normal, IL.
